Wider Horizons Events and Information

  1. Movie Group, led by Denise Lishner, will be discussing Oppenheimer (discussion questions attached) today, Monday, October 2, at 4 pm on Zoom: https://tinyurl.com/48cduc4n
  2. Men’s Coffee this Wednesday, October 4, 10 am at Victrola on 15th Ave E. I think there will be a second one, same location and time, on Tuesday, October 17.
  3. Women’s Coffee this Wednesday, October 4, 10:30 am at Oxbow Bakery on 24th Ave E. Good parking on Lynn, east of 24th. Ann Lawrence asks that people take time to be sure their chairs are returned to their original places. On Wednesday, October 18, Women’s Coffee will meet at the home of Susan Fleischmann at 10:30 am. More info on  the week of October 16.
  4. Thursday morning’s all-member Zoom is this Thursday, October 5, in its usual time slot of 9:30 am. The link and small group questions will be sent out on Wednesday.
  5. Those interested in walking, meet up at Seward Park this Thursday, October 5, 1 pm at the Audubon Society House. Look for Susan Fleischmann. If you let me know you’re coming, we’ll look for/wait for you.
  6. Who is interested in going together to see a weekend matinee show of Killers of the Flower Moon? It opens around October 20.
