Wider Horizons Events and Information

1.       Inviting all “YARNIES” to Tuesday, November 7th Fiber Art Group gathering from 10:30 – noon at Fred Lind Manor on Capitol Hill. All levels welcome. Bring your current project and join us around our congenial table. Coffee, water, project tips… and yarn available for charity gifts.  For information, contact: Joan Bergman, jmbergman43@comcast.net

2.       Daniel Hersch, currently living near Denise Klein with his brother and some of Denise’s friends, is looking for a more permanent place to live. He seems a lovely person and comes with references. See the attached brief description of him and what he’s looking for (he’s very flexible).

3.       Thursday morning’s all-member Zoom is this Thursday, November 9, in its usual time slot of 9:30 am. The link and small group questions will be sent out on Wednesday.

4.       SING-A-LONG: Join Debbie Ward and Pat Siggs to sing camp songs and old folk songs. We have song books and even an album of camp songs. We’ll gather at 3 pm on Saturday, November 18th at Debbie’s house – 816 33rd Ave South (3 steps to enter, easy street parking). Bring your favorite beverages to lubricate our voices for singing to start at 3:15 and “heavy appetizers” to share for socializing time after singing. Be among the first 12 to RSVP to Denise Klein

5.       If you are willing to host a holiday event for 6 or more people, let me know. I’m thinking December 20 through January 2. Tell me what format you have in mind (e.g., potluck, open house, sit-down dinner, etc.) and preferably give at least 2 possible dates/times. I can handle the logistics for you (like RSVPs and rides).
