Next Monday’s Memo will come out on Tuesday because Barbara Oswald and I will be away in Phoenix AZ from Friday – Monday knocking on doors to turn out voters.

Wider Horizons Events and Information

  1. The Healthy Aging monthly Zoom is on Wednesday, October 30, at 4:30 pm. The topic is: How to Ask for Help from Family and Friends…explored through the lens of Dementia Concerns. For this session, Paul Beck will be joined by Tanya Su, who is a member of Wider Horizons and a certified Dementia Friends Champion. Here is the Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85803081648?pwd=Q4CpKvWYletXfbuZXgAxE7iYIIe2Zs.1

  2. Thursday morning’s All-Member Zoom is happening, per usual, this Thursday, October 31, at 9:30 am. Sue Lerner will send out the link and questions on Wednesday.

3.     Sunday Arboretum Walk, November 3, led by Dick Zerbe. Meet at 9 am at the Graham Visitors Center.

4.     WH women will be meeting at Diane Zerbe’s home for our monthly coffee gathering on Wednesday, November 6th at 10:30 am, 939 - 21st Ave. E. 

5.     And let me know if you’d like to: a) join our Caregiver Support Group meeting at Denise Lishner’s home on Tuesday, November 4, 10:30-noon, or b) host a holiday gathering at your home sometime between December 15 and January 2.
