Villages in the Greater Seattle Area
Eastside Neighbors Network (ENN) connects individuals for friendship and well-being in life’s third act. ENN mainly serves the City of Bellevue but is somewhat flexible in including neighboring communities. They began their Village life in January 2019.
North East Seattle Together (NEST) builds a sustainable, intergenerational community that supports neighbors in growing older together with confidence, joy and peace of mind. NEST serves 13 neighborhoods from Northgate south to the Montlake Cut and from I-5 east to Northgate Way and NE 110th St. NEST was founded in February 2012.
Northwest Neighbors Network (NNN) creates vibrant intergenerational neighborhoods where residents get the support they need to stay living in the comfort of their homes and engaged in community life. NNN serves the local communities of Shoreline, Lake Forest Park, Edmonds, Mountlake Terrace, Lynnwood, and Brier. It was started in February, 2018.
Phinney Neighborhood Association Village (PNA) empowers people to remain in their homes and neighborhoods while staying active and engaged as they age. PNA serves the neighborhoods of Phinney Ridge, Greenwood, and surrounding areas. The Association Village started in 1980.
South Whidbey at Home is a membership-based nonprofit dedicated to helping older (55+) South Whidbey residents remain in their homes and active in the community by providing access to a variety of professional services, volunteer assistance, and social activities.
Vashon Senior Center Vashon Villages will be neighborhood-focused, member-led, and volunteer-supported; and feature activities, programs, and services for older adults on Vashon-Maury Island, beyond the walls of the Senior Center.
Westside Neighbors Network (WNN) creates and sustains community by bringing together good neighbors and good friends. WNN serves West Seattle and was founded in 2017.

AARP Seattle WA, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization. helps people 50 and older improve the quality of their lives through advocacy, consumer education, discounts on services, and a variety of resources.
Age Friendly Seattle connects Seattle seniors with information about events, programs, services, and transportation for seniors in Seattle.
Alzheimer’s Support a free service that assists families who have loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. Through free search tools and nationwide database of Alzheimer’s care facilities, families who are in need of care for their loved ones are able to locate licensed care homes and communities that are best equipped to provide care for their loved ones.
City of Seattle Community Living Connections provides callers a caring, highly trained specialist who will provide easy access to information, individual consultation and service options.
GenPRIDE maintains a comprehensive list of resources for LGBTQI+ aging in the Seattle metropolitan area. It emphasizes staying fit, informed, engaged, and well. Provides a non-911 emergency need or request for immediate supply delivery.
Lifelong Recreation – Seattle Parks & Recreation offers a wide range of fitness and social programs for people 50 and better that change each season.
Lighthouse for the Blind includes American Foundation for the Blind’s Senior Site, and it provides useful information for persons with low vision.
Medicare-Covered Preventative Screenings Resource is a comprehensive list of Medicare-covered health tests and screenings as well as how to qualify, the test’s frequency, and any out-of-pocket costs.
Sound Generations: Sound Generations (formerly Senior Services) is the most comprehensive non-profit agency serving older adults and their loved ones in Washington State. Established in 1967, it promotes positive aging for thousands of seniors and their families each year through our integrated system of quality programs and senior centers. More than 2,800 volunteers, together with 250 employees, make our work possible and efficient.
