Thursday morning’s All-Member Zoom is happening, per usual, this Thursday, October 17, at 9:30 am. Sue Lerner will send out the link and questions on Wednesday.
The first Storytelling of the 2024-2025 season is this Thursday, October 17, 4:00 pm on Zoom, moderated by Tom Heller - https://tinyurl.com/4v9sjz6u Here is the lineup of storytellers who will focus on the high points (or otherwise) of their sports careers:
Susan Jamison: "Pass, Set, Spike, Dive: Life on the Volleyball Court"
Gretchen Douma: “Waking the Warrior” (Gretchen is member Nina Auerbach’s wife)
Tom Heller: "Coach Laulunen"
Dick Zerbe: (tune in and be surprised)
No Men’s Coffee this Friday. The next one is on Friday, October 25 at Victrola, at 10:30 am.
Sunday Arboretum Walk, October 20, led by Dick Zerbe. Meet at 9 am at the Graham Visitors Center.
Don’t miss our Members’ Art Show and Sale, Thursday, October 24, 1-5 pm at the Russian Community Center, 19th Ave E and E Roy. Artists selling their work will accept cash, checks, or, in some cases, Venmo or a credit card. We could use volunteers to help break down the show at 5 pm. Let me know if you can help, please!
