A small group of us meet monthly to share our memoir writing. At this point, membership in the group is closed, but let Denise know if you‘d like to start another group.

Five Wider Horizons members attended this conference in Chicago. They will report on what they learned.

Central Area Senior Center
The Wider Horizons Board of Directors meets regularly, typically on the second Saturday of each month, from 9:30 to noon at the Central Area Senior Center. However, both dates and locations may vary, so check with Denise if you are in doubt.

Speakers are Ellen Berg, a sociologist who teaches courses on aging well, and Deirdre Cochran, who was a clinical social worker in VA and is currently an ombudsman for long-term-care in King County, working with residents in local facilities.

We’ll get there around 10:30 am and then adjourn to a dim sum lunch at Jade Garden. Nancy is particularly excited about the red lining exhibit. Please join us if you can. RSVP required.
