Events - Month View
The event calendar shows upcoming club events. Select a view then use the navigation buttons to move
between dates. Click on the event to view more information, including the event description, times,
location, fees and any rules regarding attendance; you can also register for events from this screen.
Click on the magnifying glass on the toolbar to see search and filter options.
Deirdre will host 10 for a potluck on her charming Lake Union Houseboat. Bring a wrapped unwanted or gag gift and be prepared to talk about a "worst" Christmas experience.
A small group of us meet monthly to share our memoir writing. At this point, membership in the group is closed, but let Denise know if you‘d like to start another group.
Betty Swift will host up to 20 people on her Portage Bay Houseboat for wine and hors d‘oeuvres to ring out the holiday season.
Gather at Donna Sunkel‘s home to knit and crochet lovely hats and other items for homeless individuals. No experience needed!
A newly-organized WH "group" of individuals who like to play Scrabble will get together at various members houses.
Central Area Senior Center
The Wider Horizons Board of Directors meets regularly, typically on the second Saturday of each month, from 9:30 to noon at the Central Area Senior Center. However, both dates and locations may vary, so check with Denise if you are in doubt.
An intergenerational panel of non-binary folks will tell their stories to help us understand the new gender landscape.
Pod 7 members (and guests) will get together for potluck supper at Denise Klein‘s for the second of two sessions on "what I‘m enjoying reading right now," or a variant on this theme.
Join your WH friends (bring prospective members, too) at Jimmy‘s (Silver Cloud Hotel, Broadway and Madison) fabulous Happy Hour. Good food at good prices; great service.

A foursome meets monthly at Chris Morris‘s home monthly for lunch and bridge. It could be more if member interest warrants!
