We need a couple more volunteers to tell their stories at the next Story Time on Thursday, Feb. 20th at 4 pm on Zoom. The theme is "when I arrived in 'this' country." When and where in your life did you arrive in a new country, either to emigrate there, or as a tourist, or in a different role (to work, to accompany a spouse, Peace Corps, etc.) What did you learn? What did you experience that was new to you? What surprised you? What was unique or humorous? Debbie Ward is our Story Time host. She will gladly chat with you about your experience and help you turn it into an 8-10 minute story. Get in touch with Debbie at debbieward222@gmail.com or contact Denise Klein. We’re also interested in your stories about other topics for our March and April Story Times, always the third Thursday at 4 pm. This is one of our most popular events.
Kathleen O’Connor’s address has changed slightly. She is now in Apt. 214B at 1421 Minor Avenue.
