Part I:Regional Village Groups: Why are they Important? Hear from several Regional Groups about how and why they formed, lessons learned and best practices for starting and getting involved in your own group. Speakers:Representatives from Bay Region Area Village Organization (BRAVO), Michigan Coalition of Villages (MiCOV), South East Regional Village Exchange (SERVE) and Washington Area Village Exchange (WAVE)
Part II: Village Leadership Discussions This session will provide the opportunity for small group discussions among different Village leaders. Attendees will break into groups of Paid Executive Directors, All-Volunteer led Villages, Board Members, Other Staff, and those interested in continuing the discussion on Regional Village Groups. Guided discussion will take place in each group.
